This was one of the first interventions in the wider project of restructuring and renovation of the old winery complex. The council chamber was conceived of as an agora in which the actions of the citizens’ highest representational institution could take place as if in a piazza, that is in full transparency. The materials used on the façade: brick, steel and glass also bear formal witness to this.
